Positive Thinking

Negative thoughts often makes one, especially if you are living with a brain-injury, negative.  With the following technique you can make yourself become positive by creating a relationship with a tree!

Seat yourself in an easy chair, and feel your weight through your body.  Take a deep breath and let all your troubles flow out of you.  Every time you breath in, you take in new energy, and breathing out, you cleanse yourself of negative thoughts.  In front of you, is your tree.  This tree is not perfect, there maybe a branch missing as a result of something that happened to it (or you) in its life time.   Look around the tree, smell the tree and listen to sounds around it.  Maybe there is a beautiful bird singing.  Greet your tree and remember that you maybe receive oxygen from your tree.  The tree is also dependent on you for carbon dioxide.  Hug the tree, become the tree. Use the tree to change your negative thoughts into positive thoughts
